This project was for the design and construction of a new building incorporating the latest building regulations and standards and using modern insulation and energy efficient techniques, but in a classic Quercy style.
Courtyard Creation
This sheltered courtyard was conceived to utilise excess space available in this Barn Conversion in Cazideroque in the Lot et Garonne. The roof was removed and a new arched opening formed to give light into the living space behind and protection for the more delicate plants.
Classic Restoration
This major renovation of a beautiful, ruined Quercy home near Massels was completed in 2007. The property features a classic 'pigeoniere' and extensive balcony / auvent.
Auvent
The 'Auvent' is a lovely feature of Quercy architecture and is essential to best enjoy the climate and beautiful countryside. Here are examples of a couple of Auvent we have built which complement the style and character of these homes.
